Batteries:

We use Lithium Iron Solar Batteries. The price of Lithium Iron Batteries has been rapidly dropping over the last few years, especially since Tesla released their Powerwall 1 in 2015.
They are superior in so many ways compared to Lead Acid, Gel or AGM batteries.
They have a built in battery management system (BMS). This will protect the batteries from: overload, over discharge, over charge, short circuit, provide protection from thermal runaway and increase the overall life of the battery.
